About My Topic

My topic is going to be about sports accidents. These issue interests me a lot because I like to play sports and I will like to know how to recover my self in a accident I will have (If I do). I will like to people to learn that some sports can be dangerous or life taking because they can be more careful or where the right things. I think this issue needs to be addressed because lots of young kids are getting head trauma.

For my choosing a topic I choose to do it of the history if sports medicine. I want to do this topic because I'm a sports kid and I like to play sports allot. How old were you on September 11, 2001?

I was 4 years old.
When did you first learn about the attacks and who explained the events to you?
I learned of the attack when i was in 4th grade because a person came cane to my class to tell us of his work . He was a firefighter and we asked him what was the most tragic thing he has seen and he said it was the twin towers.
What kind of impact did these attacks have on your life or your parents lives?

well it was a really big shock.

What was the issue with this game?

I think that they shouldn't of done it because it offends some people.

"Danger of a single story"

What does it mean to have a 'single story' about a place or community?

It means that you use stereotype to describe a place or community.

Describe a single story you have heard told about your community. What is missing from that story? How could people learn more about that community?

Mrs. Arcos told us that she went to Round Rock and this guy asked her where she worked at and she said she was a teacher in the east of Austin . The men's reaction was shocking. She should told him that it was a college prep academy and that it was really good. He should come to the school and visit us.

Describe a single story you have heard about another community. How did you learn that story?

One is that the East side is bad and has lots of gangs. What I've seen is that its quite and I don't see any gangs

How could you find out more about that community?

I could go to the internet and search the East Side or got to the police department to ask them questions.

How could a game let players experience many stories about a place or community?

It can tell them fun facts and thins that may be wrong and show them a bad conflict.

1 Cyberbully 2011

The movie that we saw was called "Cyberbilluing". Its about a girl named Taylor (the main character) she had a normal life but one day her mom gave her a laptop. Then she nade an acount in clicksters. So then she got a friend recuest from this guy named James (but she didnt know that it was a fake profile from her best friend). After that James started to call her names and he put that she got in the bed with her . Next day at school everybody started to call her names and nasty things. When she couldnt take any more of this she decided to make a suicide video when her friend saw the video she went running to her house and found her trying to kill her self by overdosing her self. Then her friend told her the truth and she got really mad. Her mom then told her to go to some classes that will make her feel better. Then after all of those classes she felt better and went to school again. And thats the end of the movie

This is my first blog post of the 2011-2012 school year.

1. What is a Cyberbully? A cyberbully is some one says bad stuff to you.


2. What are the different types of cyberbullying? Cell phone and Computer.


3. What should you do if some one cyberbullying? You have to tell an adult.


4. Why are some reason that people Cyberbully others? They may be jelouse or not like you or some one may of hurt them when they where little.

What is the name of your game? The name of our game is" SAVING THE SEA".

What is it about? Our game is about helping the sea and the ocean animals.

How much more work do you need to complete? We have finished it all.

What can you do from now until Friday to get everything finished and turned in? We have finished it all.

What grade would you give yourself in Globaloria overall? I don't know what I would give us.

What are all of the things you have learned this year? Ive learned lots of things that I couldn't remember.

What are you proud of in Globaloria? Because of the things that I do.

I think that this game is the best game made ever so far but the thing that I like the most is that it is in 3D that is so cool now you can see everything up close.I also think that they copied the new psp with the anolog stick . some thing that is also cool is that it has a home button so that when your playing you can just go to home and the game automatecly pauses.

Helping Japan

What I would do is to send money that i will earn in a year and send it . something else that I would do is that I would send food and other things so they could feed their family and people that are around them. I really feel bad for them because they might of lost one of their family members and they dont know it.

I really like it it was really cool and I like the new design it has. My favorite thing about it was the back because it is touch and you can move some things with it . Something that was interesting was that is has a GPS in it. I want to get one of them so I could be playing it all day long. this is the best game system they have ever invented in the whole world.Some thing else is that is touch and that it has camera's in it to. This movie is about kids that are getting in a tango dance class and they are practicing for a competition against other kids.They are getting to know how to dance diffrent dances and they are now in the state finale and they want to win the finals to win a big trophie.
They dont win and they all get upset. Team work to me means to help your friends and get along.

I really like the games that the teachers gave us to play. I like it beacause it really teaches me how to do all of my multiplication faster. The other game was really cool and exiting too. this is one of the web sites

The wizard
Jimmy is going to California. Jimmy saw his twin sister drown and he couldn't do anything about it. It relates to the game by letting him find out how things work.I think that video games make Jimmy feel better because he gets distracted. I think that he just consetrates alot in them. He plays double dragon, f-1 dream, street fighter, tmnt. I have played all this games before. I think that the power glove is really cool and I wish I could have one of those.

I think that google is smart to put that challenge for teen agers. I am going to enter it with ricky and Im still trying to find a 3rd person.I feel nervous because there is lots of other people that are going to paricipate.One of my ideas is to put water in 3 level contries.
